Warranty Information

If your sign experiences a structural or fabricated component failure due to defects in workmanship or materials under normal use, GRS will repair or replace the defective components at its option for the life of the sign.

GRS warrants polycarbonate sign faces and vandal covers against breakage caused by vandalism for the life of the sign. This coverage applies when vandalism damage occurs at the same time as damage to the sign cabinet or vandal cover frame. This warranty does not apply to signs without polycarbonate faces, or to damage caused by gunshots.

Ballasts, LED drivers, and lighting components carry a 1-year warranty.

Electronic Message Centers (EMCs) are warranted for 5 years from the date of shipment from the manufacturing facility. This warranty is assignable and extends to all EMC components. During the warranty period, the manufacturer will, at its option, repair or replace any defective component.

Parts are guaranteed to be available for a period of 10 years.

GRS covers labor for component replacement during the first 30 days after installation. Coverage begins upon completion of installation if performed by GRS Installation partner or upon sign system shipping for client installation scenarios.

Note: Diagnostic confirmation is required before mobilization of labor.

This warranty covers normal use and service. The following are not covered:

• Damage from abuse
• Lightning
• Acts of God
• Or any consequential or contingent liability (see Storm & Vandalism Warranty).

All warranty claims must be registered with GRS within 30 days of the issue occurrance.

GRS reserves the right to inspect the installation site and may require documentation before assuming warranty responsibility. Removal and reinstallation of repaired or replacement parts is the owner’s responsibility unless an on-site labor policy has been purchased or the issue occurs within the initial 30 day period. Incidental blemishes and scratches are considered normal wear and are acceptable when viewed at 20 feet under normal conditions. GRS assumes no liability for damage caused by careless handling or poor customer installation. Unauthorized service is not covered. Buyer is responsible for inspecting freight when receiving sign directly, and should note damage, refuse delivery, and notify GRS immediately. This warranty is exclusive and is provided in lieu of all other warranties, whether written, oral, or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

With decades of signage experience, we know what’s at stake when the unexpected happens. And, although rare, things happen and you want to be covered. Without even a basic layer of protection, catastrophic events can leave you exposed to replacing your sign with substantial out-of-pocket expenses.

GRS is here to help. All new digital sign systems include the Storm & Vandalism Peace of Mind Pledge. Should a tree fall on your sign, lightening strike and cause damage, flood waters rise or tornadoes twist, this warranty will help
soften the blow!

The warranty even applies to intentional or accidental damage to the sign such as vandalism or a car that veers off the road and destroys the sign. This policy will reimburse up to $5,000 of your insurance deductible for the incident. The math is simple and the claims process is straight-forward, and friction-free. This supplemental warranty allows you to get repairs or replacement with zero dollars out of pocket.
